Our beginnings may have started with our UK Import--but our Boxer line began when we met and fell head over heals for CH Kaboom's Carmilk Secret ('Cara').
It all began with a chance meeting at the Tyee Kennel Club Show in Mill Bay in 2002--and then a more formal meeting when a planned breeding between CH Kourika Happy Returns to Hillroy and CH Kaboom's Caramilk Secret took place in 2004.
We spent a lot of time with 'Cara' after the breeding and played an important role in the lives of the puppies after they were whelped--after all, we were 'grandparents'!. We were lucky enough to live just up the road--where we could be called on at any time. We were able to visit the puppies, and have them at our home, whenever needed or wanted!

During that time--Joanne (Kaboom Boxer's) and I spent a lot of time 'talking Boxers'. She proved to be a wonderful mentor.
Then, the opportunity arose for 'Cara' to become a part of our home. We were so honoured to have been given first consideration! We did not let that opportunity pass! She has been the perfect fit in our home--so wonderful with our children --and a perfect companion for Sugar Ray. Joanne, thank you.

Cara is elegant and sweet, with rich red colour, lots of substance, short back, a superb head, black eyes (the vet says he can't see her pupils because her eyes are so dark!) and wide square "not-too-undershot" bite. Judges and breeders are definitely taking a second look at this "not-so-plain" girl!
